Some Everton fans would like the Goodison Park faithful to sign Sami Khedira as the Liverpool Echo relayed comments made by Carlo Ancelotti as to whether he would look to sign the central midfield player in the January transfer window.
As per the news outlet, the Italian boss was asked as to whether the Merseyside club would look to sign his former player, to which he quite cheekily said: “maybe in January”.
Would Khedira be a good signing by Everton?
Khedira is a player that can still be ‘world-class’ on his day, and given also that he has won both the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA World Cup with both Real Madrid and Germany respectively (Transfermarkt), the 33 year-old would add some valuable experience both on and off of the pitch for the Toffees.

These EFC supporters expressed their desire for the Blues to sign Khedira on Twitter after hearing the comments made by Ancelotti on the German midfielder:
With his age and lack of games recently I wasn’t sure but now with Allan out and Gbamin still working his way back to fitness, we may need someone of his type to help out for the rest of the season

For me this is a no brainer. Ok he is 33 & as long as the wages are affordable we can offer a 18 month contract. He is a World Cup winner & serial trophy winner at club level & his winning mentality is exactly what we need around the club to help the youngsters develop

Ita called a cheap cover for allan who will moat likely be out for 2 months

On loan… he’s 34… if we move one of the two similar players on then yes.

On loan definitely his experience would be invaluable

Loan moves for both would be ideal! Would rejuvenate the midfield with current injury issues and bring huge European experience as well!
