Yannick Bolasie has been left 'disappointed' by his failed deadline day move to Middlesbrough as the Everton outcast shared his thoughts.

The 31-year old tweeted his disappointment but also added that his focus is back on the Merseyside club and continuing to work hard every day to try and get himself back in Carlo Ancelotti's plans.

Warnock's comments on Yannick Bolasie

Indeed, when 'Boro manager Neil Warnock was asked about his team's reported move for Bolasie, he described the DR Congo international as an 'unbelievable' player at times.

Bolasie has shown in English football that he can be ‘unbelievable’ as Warnock claimed, as the winger tweeted recently about being given a standing ovation at Anfield while playing for Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

He also managed to bag a memorable hat-trick away from home against Sunderland in the top flight back in 2014/15.

Bolasie needs to leave Everton

Indeed, a move away from Goodison Park, whether on loan or in a permanent transfer, would suit Bolasie, who needs game-time as has not played a competitive match for the Blues since 2018.

The Toffees outcast has also only managed to score two goals and provide just four assists in 32 games in all competitions for Everton, as per Transfermarkt.

Bolasie is currently earning £75,000 per week, or £3.9m a year, according to Salary Sport, and so it may be an idea for Everton to try and get as much of those wages as possible off their books while he is not playing for them.
