Many Everton fans have responded to further claims linking Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish with a summer move to the club.
Arguably one of the best performers in the Premier League season this term, Grealish has attracted interest from a number of sides ahead of the summer transfer window.
Manchester United have been extremely keen, whilst Everton have been recently linked with a move for Villa’s club captain.
Villa, who sit 19th in the Premier League table as things stand, will have a hard task keeping the academy graduate at the club past the summer, and it has now emerged that Everton officials are ‘confident‘ they can seal an agreement although the Villans want around £70m.
Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti is expected to bring in a new number of faces to the club in what will be his first summer transfer window since taking over from Marco Silva in December.
Grealish has featured 26 times in the league this season for Villa, scoring seven goals and gaining six assists in the process.
Reacting to a tweet by fan account @TheGwladysSt, fans gave their opinion on Grealish’s potential arrival:
Everton are “secretly confident” of signing Jack Grealish this summer. It is believed that Villa would demand a fee in the region of £70m. Grealish could want up to £150,000-a-week. He would be a game changer for us. He links midfield to attack, something we badly miss and is a must in any team wanting to be successful.
He also has all the Everton FC fighting qualities we like to see. Gives 110% every game, scores goals and has a slight arrogance. Quality— Mike (@Mike47506739) April 19, 2020
For that fee & that wage, you could have your pick of 99% of the top 5 leagues. And there are far better players & much better value for money than Grealish.

Disagree, he is absolutely wasted at Villa, if he put in the performances he has with a bigger club then everyone would be singing his praises tenfold. Don’t like him as a bloke, but baller of a footballer.

I’d love him but not for £70 million Jesus
