A growing number of Premier League players do not want to play football during the recent pandemic, according to a report by ESPN, which has prompted Everton fans to respond.
Following the cancellation of French football earlier this week by France’s president Emmanuel Macron, the future of the Premier League remains in doubt. Football’s current standstill due to the recent pandemic has left clubs, players and fans questioning if the 2019/2020 season will finish.

Everton sit 12th in the Premier League as things stand, having struggled initially this season under Portuguese tactician Marco Silva, and gradually improved under Carlo Ancelotti.
The potential return of football will see the Merseyside club look to develop a consistent run before Ancelotti looks to make a number of personnel changes in what will be his first summer transfer window in charge of the club.
Reacting to a latest tweet by fan account @TheGwladysSt, who comment on ESPN’s claims that players in the Premier League do not want to play football whilst the pandemic is still circulating, fans have given their thoughts on the matter.
