After Everton loanee Sandro Ramirez opened the scoring for Real Valladolid during their 2-1 loss to Tenerife in the Copa Del Rey on Wednesday evening, supporters still begged the La Liga club to take the striker on a permanent deal – citing how he is just another ‘burden’ to the Toffees.
Ramirez, who signed on Merseyside back in the summer of 2017 after the club met his £5.2 million buy-out clause, has since gone on to play just 16 games in all competitions for the Toffees – scoring once and assisting two others as per Transfermarkt.
The Spanish striker has managed to double his current Everton goal tally for Valladolid this season over 17 appearances, prompting supporters to beg the club to take Ramirez off their hands. Dominic Calvert-Lewin, in the striker’s absence, has appeared to excel this season – scoring 10 league goals in 17 starts while bettering Ramirez’ shots per game ratio (2.2), as per WhoScored.com.
As a result, these fans have not only slandered the striker’s goal against Tenerife but also insist that the Spanish outfit sign him on a permanent deal – find all of their best comments down below.
Cool. That put his price up from 10 bob to a pound. All bids above welcome. Another burden on Everton football club instigated by Steve Walsh and Co. Got to go. Espana por favor.
