Everton fans in The Transfer Tavern are discussing reports that one of they attack minded midfielders could leave the club during the January transfer window.
The Express has revealed that Kevin Mirallas could be set for an exit from Goodison Park in hope of boosting his chances of being selected in the Belgium squad for EURO 2016.
Mirallas has fallen down the pecking order and struggled to feature this season with the likes of Gerard Deulofeu, Aaron Lennon, Arouna Kone, and Steven Naismith ahead of him in the pecking order.
The Belgian did feature for 25 minutes during the second half of Sunday’s 6-2 victory over Sunderland replacing Deulofeu but reports suggest he is looking to secure a move away from the club.
Mirallas has been popular during his time at Everton since signing from Olympiacos in 2013. The 28 year old has made 93 appearances for the club and scored 21 times during his time at the club.
The Everton fans in The Transfer Tavern are sorry to hear the news that Mirallas could leave the club in January, but fully support his reasons should he sign elsewhere.
