Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to seeing how their side is going to perform in the last day or so in the transfer window.
The men from Goodison Park have had a strong market up until now, it must be said, and now they’ll surely be looking to cap it off with one more top star before the deadline.
Whilst we wait to see if Ronald Koeman manages to bring anyone in before then, though, it looks as though the club has decided that it will only let Oumar Niasse go permanently and not out on loan.
Indeed, that is per The Liverpool Echo and it now remains to be seen if anyone decides to go in with a permanent offer for the striker.
The report itself is suggesting that Brighton and Crystal Palace are keen on the player who did well on loan at Hull City last season but any repeat of a temporary move is certainly looking unlikely.
It’s up to the Seagulls or Eagles, then, to decide if a permanent move is right for them.
Landlord’s Verdict
Everton have done very well in this window and letting Niasse go would also be a smart piece of business.
The Blues’ forward certainly boosted his reputation in this country with his showings at Hull but a move away would still be best for him so let’s see whether or not a club comes in for him before the deadline.
