Everton look like they are going to secure a top eight finish this season providing they can pick up a win or two in their remaining games, and manager Sam Allardyce deserves some credit for getting them out of the lull they were in when he took over.

The Toffees had a summer of big spending last time out, and the owners might well be wary of splashing the cash once again this year.

However, our landlord believes if the club are to improve and challenge higher up the table, then spending more money is a must, whether that be under Allardyce or another new manager.

One key area which is always open for improvement within most teams in England is up front, and despite the addition of big money signing Cenk Tosun in January, there is a case to be made for more new strikers coming through the door at Goodison.

With that in mind, we’ve taken a look at TWO strikers who Everton could look to sign this summer…

Kenneth Zohore

The big Cardiff City striker was touted about for a move in January, but has remained in Wales and has played a pivotal role as Neil Warnock’s men close in on second spot.

Zohore has been a key cog for Warnock, and losing him, whether they win promotion or not, would be a bitter blow for Cardiff.

However, Everton could do with an option like Zohore provides with his height and presence, and if Allardyce does remain in charge, he’s the perfect sort of player to suit his system.

Fernando Llorente

Another player who fits the mould of a ‘typical’ Sam Allardyce player, is Spurs forward Llorente, who remains back up to Harry Kane for the Londoners.

A move to Everton could yield more minutes for the Spaniard, who will be desperate to prove himself on a consistent basis in England.

He has impressed for Spurs at times, but the chance to play regularly for Everton with another young core of players around him, could be a shrewd move for both the Toffees and Llorente as he enters the last few years of his career.
