Romelu Lukaku and Yannick Bolasie have formed quite the formidable partnership this season; and it has left the punters in the Football Transfer Tavern wondering how they have managed to play so well together, despite the season only being several weeks old.
Well, that query may well have been answered as, according to the Liverpool Echo, Yannick Bolasie has revealed that it has a lot to do with how the pair communicate with each other.
Bolasie said: “It really helps when we talk in our language, Lingala”.
He continued: “We speak Lingala on the pitch. There aren’t too many defenders in the league who speak it, so that gives us a little bit of an advantage”.
Well – there you have it! Who knew?!

Yannick Bolasie only joined Everton in the summer, but he has settled into life in Merseyside with ease. He has picked up an incredible 4 assists already, whilst his attacking partner Romelu Lukaku has picked up an impressive 7 goals.
Everton are currently sat in 6th place in the Premier League – and the punters in the Tavern think that their impressive start has been largely down to how well Lukaku and Bolasie are working together.
