Our Sheffield Wednesday fans here in the Transfer Tavern really cannot wait for their side to get going next season with them hoping for promotion to the Premier League.
The men from Hillsborough had to see their side fall short in the play-offs again in 2016/17 so they will be hoping that disappointment will spur them on for the next campaign.
Of course, that is easier said than done and new players will be needed but it seems as though they are getting ready to go for it with Carlos Carvalhal extending his stay as manager – as per the club’s Twitter.
