Castore’s first few months as Glasgow Rangers’ kit manufacturing partner have not started too well.
There were positive signs right at the beginning, though. The £25m kit deal will no doubt bring in plenty of funds to Ibrox, whilst the new home shirt sold out within 36 hours of going on pre-sale in what seemed to be the start of a lucrative partnership.

However, since then, the wheels have fallen off. Some fans have complained that their purchases either arrived late or were damaged when they reached their destination. That forced the Liverpool-based company to apologise to Rangers supporters.

It seems that this experience has not stopped Castore from wanting to increase their number of clients in the footballing world, though. It has now emerged that they are rivalling New Balance for AS Roma’s kit deal.
This has attracted plenty of attention from ‘Gers supporters, many of whom took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

A repeat of this summer absolutely cannot happen mate, this Xmas and next summer is the tests, but potentially seeing our tops sold in Roma would be amazing as I could see Italians buying out top. It could be good for our clubs brand aswell castore getting a deal with Roma
