Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for their side to get going this season with them hoping to take a few scalps.
The men from St. James’ Park are back in the big-time, of course, and they can’t wait to get the big teams back up to Tyneside to try and beat them and get themselves up the table.
For sure, of all the promoted sides Newcastle are going to be the ones to be most wary of but there can be no doubt that they need to sign more players than they have already.
Even so, some of the stars they already have are more than good enough to play in the top flight and that can certainly be said of Ayoze Perez.
