Since Jose Mourinho’s arrival at Old Trafford, Bastian Schweinsteiger has been cast aside by the Portuguese manager – having yet to play a single minute for Man Utd this season.
For a reason unbeknownst to the punters in the Football Transfer Tavern, Mourinho simply has not seen the German veteran as a member of his squad – and his treatment of the German off the field has highlighted that.
However, as pictures posted on Man Utd’s official Twitter display – the German has, seemingly for the first time, been welcomed back to the Man Utd first team – and has spent the day training with his fellow Red Devils.

Whilst the images do not confirm whether Mourinho has necessarily welcomed Schweinsteiger back to the first team fold, the signs are definitely good – and the Man Utd fans in the Tavern are hopeful.
