The die-hard United supporters are chatting away in the Tavern with regards to what exactly is going wrong at the club and one area they feel needs to change is the manager, with Louis van Gaal in the firing line.
Most Red Devils supporters in the Tavern believe Jose Mourinho to be the next person into the managerial position and his appointment would surely divide opinion.

Lack of youth development
Jose Mourinho is not one for throwing the younger players into the unchartered territory of the first-team fold.
Okay so Reuben Loftus-Cheek played a little bit of football under him at Chelsea but he could have featured more often in truth.
The Portuguese boss would rather use a senior player as a square peg in a round hole instead of dipping into the academy squad to make up the numbers on a match day.
United are a club who pride themselves on the development of their youth teams and Mourinho’s arrival could signal a sad day for the youngsters at Old Trafford.
Dodgy transfer dealings
Jose Mourinho’s transfer dealings at Chelsea were okay but in truth the Manchester United squad needs a revamp that will prove a little more than just okay.
Whether or not Mourinho is the right man to trust with a transfer bounty to get the club challenging for Premier League honours again remains to be seen.
You have to say that given the debacle with physiotherapist Eva Carnerio this season, it could prove unlikely that players will want to go and play for Mourinho.
He is a very Marmite sort of person is the Portuguese boss and he could be in for a surprise when it comes to signing players at his next club.
Style of play
The once great Manchester United are a club who for the 26 years Sir Alex Ferguson was at the club, played attractive, free-flowing football which was incredibly easy on the eye.
United supporters and ex-players are desperate to see the club adopt such an aggressive style once again, but in truth they are going to be disappointed if Mourinho does get the nod.
At Chelsea Jose built up a reputation of playing from the back with eleven players behind the ball, whilst looking to hit opponents on the counter.
The style of scoring once and protecting a lead at all costs is not really in the manual of playing the Manchester United way, which could lead to unrest with supporters.
Past controversy
Back in 2004 Jose Mourinho, who then the boss of Porto, saw his side defeat Manchester United in the first knockout stage of the Champions League.
After Francisco Costinha had scored deep into injury time to send United packing, Mourinho proceeded to dance along the touchline in delight, running half way around the pitch to celebrate with his players.
United fans will not forget that sort of behaviour and that coupled with his battles with the Red Devils as Chelsea boss will do little to appease the faithful.
Alarming demise at Chelsea
Jose Mourinho’s tenure as Chelsea boss the second time around was destined for failure from the moment he threw his physiotherapist under the bus, for simply following orders from a referee to tend to an injured player.
That must have had an effect on certain first-team players and Chelsea’s form dropped considerably following that debacle.
The Portuguese boss just seems to attract controversy, whether it is with his staff, his players or even the various media outlets.
To be truthful, although Mourinho is naturally a great manager – his CV speaks for itself – his style is flawed, and if Manchester United think the ex-Real Madrid man is their new Sir Alex, they are in for a big shock.
