Forward in Everton transfer talks after Lookman move

The Everton parked up at the bar in the Transfer Tavern are toasting the name ‘Ademola Lookman’ as the Ronald Koeman era begins to take further shape.

The Toffees look to have hit some good form under the Dutchman once again and the notion of splashing big cash following their investment over the summer is an exciting one.

As much of our Merseyside locals are dreaming of big-name arrivals, it seems it could be a case of one in and one out at Goodison Park for now.

According to RMC Sport’s Mohamed Bouhafsi, Everton ace David Henen is in talks over a move away from the club this month, after failing to have much of an impact.

The 20-year-old Belgian arrived from Olympiakos last year, though has barely featured and was recently farmed out on loan to League Two side Fleetwood Town.

So it’s barely surprising to see him linked with a move already, with two Ligue 1 sides reportedly keen on rescuing him from his Goodison nightmare.

Both Marseille and Lille are understood to retain an interest in Henen, who is unlikely to prove to be a great loss to the Toffees in the Tavern.

Will Henen be a loss for Everton? Let us know below…
