The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have all been saying exactly the same thing today in response to a tweet from their club’s official Twitter account. The club posted a stat about their French midfielder, Paul Pogba, claiming that the club have never lost a game with which he has scored in, although the fans have all replied saying that’s because he doesn’t score enough.

Paul Pogba made an incredible Old Trafford return in the summer of 2016, having originally left United in pursuit of more game time when he joined Juventus in summer 2012 on a free transfer. However, after four years of improving his game, he rejoined United for a then world-record fee of just over £90 million. Despite his impressive career path, the last two years in Manchester haven’t seen the best of Pogba, and the fans all know it.
The Frenchman is about to compete in his second World Cup and his third major International tournament in Russia this summer, having previously competed in both the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and 2016 European Championships in France. After the short month of football with France, Pogba will be focused on another season under Jose Mourinho with United, as he aims to improve on his six goals and ten assists which he contributed for the Red Devils in the Premier League this season.
