Glasgow Rangers’ George Edmundson is still starting out with his career at Ibrox.
The defender moved to the Ibrox outfit for £700,000 last summer from Oldham Athletic after making 79 appearances for the English side. So far, he has been used sparingly by Steven Gerrard, with only 15 appearances for the Gers, but at the tender age of 22, his career is still in its early stages.

He appears to be rather popular with some of the club’s supporters, and photos he has published on Twitter have only bolstered his reputation. He shared pictures of himself as a kid, with him wearing a ‘Gers top, whilst there was also a photo of his father in one of the club’s tracksuits.

Unsurprisingly, this has gone down fantastically with many of the club’s supporters. They have taken to the social media platform to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments below:
You kept this quiet big man, most would have had these plastered over social media the minute they signed.
