Glasgow Rangers: Fans criticise Glen Kamara’s performance in 2-2 draw at Hibernian

A number of Glasgow Rangers fans vented their frustration at Glen Kamara’s performance in Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Hibernian at Easter Road.

The ‘Gers conceded their first goals of the season as, despite returning to the top of the Premiership, they now have only a one-point lead on Celtic, who still have one game in hand (as per spfl.co.uk).

Kamara, a £50,000 signing from Dundee in January 2019, had what Glasgow Times reporter Christopher Jack described as “a rare off day for the normally reliable midfielder”, who was “uncharacteristically poor in possession”.

The 24-year-old completed 83 of his 90 passes against Hibs but was also culpable of losing possession eight times, while the only shot he took all afternoon was blocked by the home side (as per Sofascore). Indeed, right-back James Tavernier was the only outfield player for the ‘Gers who didn’t record any shots, which was an indication of how little of a threat the Finland midfielder posed.

These ‘Gers fans took to Twitter to express their frustration with Kamara’s display, with one branding him “the worst player on the pitch” at Easter Road:
