Daniel Candeias only spent two seasons at Glasgow Rangers but it seems he is a very popular figure among many of the club’s supporters.
The ‘Gers paid £720,000 for his services in 2017 from Benfica and he went on to make 94 appearances in all competitions for the Ibrox outfit. During that time, he managed to grab 14 goals and a rather impressive 25 assists, featuring mainly on the right wing (as per Transfermarkt).

However, he departed last year for a fee of just £250,000, making the move to Genclerbirligi, for whom he has managed three goals and six assists in 25 games, showing his ability in Turkey since his transfer.

On Wednesday he shared a picture on his Twitter page of his training, and it is fair to say that he is widely missed at Ibrox. These ‘Gers fans have taken to the social media platform to implore him to return to the Scottish Premiership and you can see some of the very best comments below:
