It still remains unclear what the future holds for Rangers when it comes to finishing the 2019/20 campaign.
As it stands, there is no football being played in the Scottish Premiership, as is the case across most of the continent and indeed the globe due to the current pandemic making its way across the planet. There have been calls for the campaign to be null and voided, although that now looks unlikely given that FIFA have extended the season indefinitely.
The Gers have made their stance clear, though, as to how they think the term should proceed. In a statement published on Thursday, they said that they are still committed to seeing the campaign finished, and that they do not want to see it cut short.

This has got the Ibrox outfit’s supporters reacting in their droves, and on the whole they appear to be delighted with the words from their club – one or two, though, don’t quite agree. You can see some of the best comments from social media platform Twitter below.

Appreciate in the minority here but we should walk away and leave them to display their desperation shows absolute sewer rat levels of class. People are dying and only 9 in a row matters. Awful, simply awful.

You know what….the more prize money that we can get the better for us. However, I’m proud & pleased to see my club recognise the precarious financial position of many other clubs. The even distribution of prize money is a lifesaver to many smaller clubs . Bravo 🔴⚪🔵
