With the Scottish Premiership season now ended, Glasgow Rangers can look forward to next season to see how they can stop their fierce rivals Glasgow Celtic winning the league for a 10th time in a row.
Whilst the Gers wanted to complete the season, with some, like Borna Barisic, believing they had a chance to catch the Bhoys at the top of the table, the fact of the matter is they were 13 points behind with just nine games left to play. They were nowhere near winning the title, and they must now find a way to change that.

Six players have already been released by the Gers, including goalkeepers Wes Foderingham and Jak Alnwick – as such, a new shot-stopper could well be on the cards. In the last few days, reports have emerged that the 54-time Scottish champions are interested in signing St. Mirren’s Vaclav Hladky, who will soon be a free agent.

This has attracted plenty of attention from the Gers supporters, and it seems that, on the whole, they would like to sign the Czech – one fan even called him “perfect”. They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
Better run it past Michael Stewart first to see if we’re allowed to get any players https://t.co/kWvMkDT1mi

Hladky on a 2 year deal is a no brainer

Mcrorie is the long term replacement. This is possibly McGregors last season. Hladky is perfect to step in

One of the best keepers in the league makes sense and it’ll be cheaper wages than wes was on
