Jurgen Klopp has done a brilliant job at managing Liverpool, and under his tutelage, they’ve grown back into a significant European force.
From front to back, their squad is filled with talent, and one area that has seen a significant rise as of late is the midfield. A handful of new faces, like Naby Keita, Fabinho and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have joined an already packed-out group of players that are all eager to make an impact.
That leaves some players, like Jordan Henderson, with a slightly more uncertain future. After all, is he going to get into the team ahead of so much talent every week?
Well, if some Liverpool fans had their say, he certainly would. We recently asked Liverpool fans whether Henderson should start every week, and in response, 75% of those polled revealed that he should.
That’s certainly a significant group of supporters that are fans of Henderson, but it’s easy to see why.
As the captain, he’s a real leader, whilst his energy, passing and aggression all make him a viable option.
Not to mention, his form this season has been pretty good too, and if anyone is going to step up and improve, it’s Henderson. Who would have thought Henderson would have remained so popular after a summer of spending?
