Glasgow Rangers may well be preparing for the new campaign, and are set to fly out to France to continue their pre-season plans, but that only comes after taking the fight to those who govern the game north of the border.
The Gers have accused the SPFL of corruption over the past few months following the resolution proposal, and even provided a 200-page dossier to prove as much. Not only that, they even then demanded an independent investigation into the authority – even though only 12 other sides in Scotland’s top four divisions agreed, the Ibrox outfit had made their point.

Now, Hearts and Partick Thistle are taking the fight to the governing body as they aim to get their relegations overturned. However, it has been confirmed that the SFA, who are presiding over the arbitration panel, have decided to charge them for not going to them first instead of taking the matter to court.
