Bill Struth is arguably not only the greatest manager in Glasgow Rangers’ history, but possibly in the whole of Scottish football.
The Glaswegian spent an astonishing 34 years as the club’s boss from 1920 to 1954, which means that he successfully navigated the club through the comeback from World War II. During his time there, he won 18 league titles, 10 Scottish Cups and two League Cups – it is a record that will likely never be beaten at Ibrox.

It is now 100 years since Struth was appointed as the boss in the blue side of Glasgow and, as such, the club will be releasing a plethora of content to celebrate the anniversary. One of the first bits to emerge is an interview with David Mason, who is a club historian, in which he talks about Struth’s legacy at Ibrox.
