Early on Wednesday, Glasgow Rangers revealed their new kit for the 2020/21 campaign.
The anticipation for any new shirt is often huge, but this year for ‘Gers fans is extra special as it is the first offering made by Castore. The Ibrox outfit recently signed a £25m deal with the Liverpool-based company, with the deal set to last for five years.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding Scottish football at the moment, the ‘Gers fans have shown their support in their droves in the past few days – the club have already sold 40,000 season tickets, whilst 20,000 people have signed up for their new MyGers membership scheme.

They have continued to show their love for the club in terms of shirt sales. In an Instagram conversation with a ‘Gers supporter, Castore confirmed that they have already sold 25,000 shirts on the first day.
This news was shared by Four Lads Had a Dream, a respectable ‘Gers fan blog, and it has attracted plenty of attention from supporters. These fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below:

All this with still 2 kits to go on sale, and the new Rangers store at Ibrox to open. Castore will feel they’ve hit the jackpot with us https://t.co/lozUmBrI3r

About £20million by my count from all 3. Obviously far from pure profit but still amazing!
