Glasgow Rangers: Fans react to club announcement

Glasgow Rangers appear to be in a good position at the moment.

The Gers have recently signed a new kit manufacturing deal with Castore, with the partnership said to be worth £25m for the club over five years. Not only that, they have already made two new signings, bringing in Calvin Bassey on a free transfer and splashing £3m on Ianis Hagi.

Now, they have announced a new partnership with The Energy Check, whose logo will now appear on the back of the club’s shirts during the 2020/21 campaign, whilst they will also appear on LED boards and interview backdrops.

To confirm the news, the Gers released a statement on their Twitter page, which led to plenty of reaction from the club’s supporters. However, rather than enjoying the news, the fans took the opportunity to complain at their kits for the upcoming campaign not yet being confirmed. Indeed, it has now been over one month since they announced the Castore deal (BBC Sport).
