Alfredo Morelos’ time at Glasgow Rangers does feel like it is coming to an end.
The Colombia international was left out of the Gers squad to face Kilmarnock at the weekend after asking to leave the club, and he has reportedly already agreed personal terms with Lille in France. His recent comments also indicate that he is eager to make a move to a more prestigious league – his departure is now surely only a matter of when and not if.

The 24-year-old has still been a revelation for the Gers, scoring 79 goals in 142 matches, but The Daily Record’s Keith Jackson believes that Morelos should have been sold by Gerrard years ago – even though the former Liverpool captain has only been at Ibrox since 2018 and despite the fact the striker netted 29 goals last term.
