Glasgow Rangers continued their impressive early season form on Wednesday as they faced St. Johnstone at Ibrox.
The Gers had already won their first two games going into this match, beating Aberdeen and St. Mirren 1-0 and 3-0 respectively, and they pulled out another victory as they once again prevailed 3-0 – Borna Barisic, Ryan Kent and Joe Aribo all got themselves on the scoresheet. The Ibrox outfit are now top of the Premiership with nine points, already with a five-point buffer over their fierce rivals Celtic.
Whilst it was another good outing for the Gers, not every player had their best match – just like against St. Mirren, Ianis Hagi struggled, picking up a disappointing WhoScored rating of just 6.76. The fans were far from happy with his display on Sunday, and they were once again quick to aim their frustration at him this time out.
Have you been disappointed with Hagi so far?
Yes
No
They took to Twitter to share their thoughts – one fan called him a “waste of money” – and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
Another dreadful Hagi performance. Midfield isn’t right at all with Jack and Kamara. Very frustrated and a typical performance of last year when we have chance to put the foot down. Tentative and edge

Kamara moves ahead of jack as the first pick midfielder. Hagi was horrific tonight

Thoughts on Hagi – ive got concerns. He looks like he wants too much time for SPFL.
