After Glasgow Rangers had attempted to hold the SPFL to account, it seems Hearts and Partick Thistle are now taking up the mantle.
The Gers had previously accused the governing body of corruption, of course, and even attempted to see an independent investigation carried out into the authority – that was eventually quashed. Now, those two other clubs are set on taking the fight to the SPFL. This comes after both sides were relegated following the premature end to the campaign even though they both still had chances to stay up.

There had been an attempt for a reconstruction of the league system north of the border, but that also failed to go through. Now, following the confirmation of legal action, it has been revealed that Clare Whyte, the SFA’s compliance officer, will probe the compensation claim.

This has attracted the attention of the Gers supporters, who have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts. You can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
Time for clubs who practice football entertainment, professionalism, trust, fairness & sporting integrity to break away from SPFL and form a new league with the interests of ALL clubs, players. facilities, football standards& supporters satisfaction at the heart of its business https://t.co/Yir9Xk3Lkb

Intimidation and bullying. Hope Hearts and Partick stay strong. Doubt it though, will probably be offered a bribe and roll over.

Just empty threats and intimidation tactics. Shows they’re rattled.
