Glasgow Rangers may appear to be looking towards the new season following their difficulties with the SPFL, but that does not seem to be the case across Scottish football.
On Monday, we saw Hearts owner Ann Budge’s attempt to see a reconstruction of the league system north of the border fail after only 16 teams decided that a mix-up was needed. The failure to see a change made to the system means that the Jam Tarts will be relegated to the second tier.

Partick Thistle are in the same situation, with the outcome of the vote meaning that they too will dropping down a division. However, they are not going to lie down without a fight – both sides have confirmed that they will be taking legal action against the SPFL.

The governing body have responded to the announcement with a short statement of their own, saying that they are studying this carefully, and will therefore not be making any more comments on the matter.
This news has attracted plenty of attention from the Gers supporters, with this giving them a chance to vent their anger at the authority. Indeed, the SPFL are not the flavour of the month amongst Rangers fans either, after the club accused the governing body of corruption recently.
They have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below.
