According to Birmingham Live, Rayhaan Tulloch has turned down a move to Glasgow Rangers and has instead signed a contract with current club West Bromwich Albion.

The Gers were said to be interested in Tulloch, who could have been signed on a free transfer as his deal was set to run out at the Hawthorns.

However, it now appears that he will be staying with the Championship club as it was revealed he put pen to paper on a new four-year contract.

This will come as a bit of a blow to Steven Gerrard and the Gers – whilst he has made just five professional appearances, Tulloch has impressed for the Baggies’ youth sides, scored nine goals in 14 matches whilst also providing four assists in Premier League 2.

For the U18s, he scored 23 goals in 38 matches – that is rather impressive. WBA, though, will have not wanted him to go anywhere, hence why they have pushed for him to stay with this new long-term agreement.
Tulloch would have struggled to immediately become a member of the first team, but he would have been one for Gerrard and the Gers to nurture in the coming years. Now, they will need to look elsewhere if they are still in the market for a similar type of player.
