As per Football Insider, Glasgow Rangers are interested in signing QPR’s Bright Osayi-Samuel on a pre-contract deal.

Osayi-Samuel has just 12 months left on his contract, and as such he will be able to speak to clubs from other nations as early as January.

This has attracted the interest of the Gers, who want to take him to Ibrox and are thought to have launched a move, indeed they could get him for a bargain given his contractual situation. Crystal Palace have also been mentioned as a potential destination for the 22-year-old.

Osayi-Samuel had a positive campaign in the Championship last time out, scoring five goals and providing a further nine assists in 37 matches. He was even on the verge of a £5m move to Club Brugge, but that eventually fell through, and the likes of Fulham, Leicester City and Brighton are also keeping an eye on how things progress.

Should Osayi-Samuel leave QPR, it has been said the second-tier team could make a move to sign the Gers’ Jordan Jones. This could actually make the Gers’ efforts to sign the Nigeria-born ace an awful lot easier – there could be scope to agree some kind of swap deal.
