Goal Of The Weekend – Cast Your Vote Now!

Generic image of people going, 'Hurrah!'

Another cracking weekend of Premier Leagueness.

Sir Alan Sugar tipped Tottenham for a 3-0 win but Everton clearly aren’t Amstrad fans. Manchester City were, if you believed the hype, going to nail Arsenal en route to the title. They will need to do more than spend, spend, spend if they wish to replicate the Chelsea model.

Sir Alex told fans that normal service would be resumed shortly and he wasn’t too far wrong. A solid away win. But Tuncay’s goal was nevertheless pretty hot, hot, hot.

Torres is back from the brink. Probably. Let’s hope so. The Premiership is all the less without him when he’s on form.  Nolan did exactly what Avram Grant didn’t want him to and even Bendtner scored.

Well now, when it comes to football, one man has for many years been the most noticeable, the most controversial, and occasionally the most successful blogger this country has ever produced. His pithy words and abrasive style make him as famous off the pitch as he is on it. This man is Escapini. "I love football. Football she's a cruel mistress. She's, she's more than a mistress. She's a wife, she's a mother, she's a daughter, she's an errant child. She's a… she's a… she can make you laugh, she make you cry. She can bring tears me eyes. She can bring blood to me shoulders. She can bring a kettle to the boil." "Cause football is about nothing, unless it's about something and what it is about, is football."
