The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have been in loud debate over the presence of Mr. David Ospina between the posts.
Taking a rather continental approach, Arsene Wenger has opted to use the Colombian custodian in the Champions League, dropping Petr Cech.
While the South American stopper impressed during their clash with Paris Saint-Germain, reports suggesting he will forever keep his place in that competition have divided the Gunners.
Due to Cech’s standing as one of the greatest ‘keepers to ever have played English football, those in North London are confused as to why Wenger would opt to do this.
It isn’t a slight on the former Nice ace, who played well to keep the might of Paris at bay last night, though more of a bizarre reaction to the Czech’s dropping.
With that in mind, here are EIGHT of the best reactions to Wenger’s goalkeeping merry-go-round out there on Twitter.
Shock and Surprise
With Cech you expect too much and sometimes he disappoints but with Ospina he surprises u sometimes

Quick to forget?
I always had confidence in David Ospina. Some were quick to forget how good he can be coz we signed Cech.

Cech yourself before you wreck yourself
Only point I agree with Wenger on, is David Ospina. He deserves to stay in goal for the next CL games. Cech hasn’t been faultless

Visionary
Hats off to Wenger. The man knew Ospina would do madness and played him instead of Cech. Wengers vision is as good as Ozil.

Cech’s his mate
I know Ospina had a Worldy last night, but Petr Cech is Petr Cech! They guy has won the Champions League. That’s what we need in goals! #AFC

Has he got a point?
Ugh, Gooners are gonna gush over Ospina today like he hasn’t been world-class for his national team for a while. Has Cech though? #Arsenal

What about Granit?!
Xhaka not playing is the real talking point..not Ospina over Cech…utter madness

Who’d be a goalie?
Both Cech and Ospina are top goalkeepers, with weaknesses. Neither are perfect. Both have great and poor days. It’s an unforgiving position.
