‘Great move ‘, ‘What a player’ - Man Utd fans react as club announce player agreement

The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping that Jose Mourinho will make the most of his squad in the second-half of the season. The Portuguese manager has one of the best squads in the Premier League, with a fantastic mix of youth and experience currently present.

However, as with any team, not everybody can play every week, and so sometimes a young player is forced to go elsewhere in search of regular football.

That’s been the case for young Axel Tuanzebe this week, with Man Utd recently announcing that they have reached an agreement with Aston Villa regarding a loan deal for Tuanzebe – who will now move to Villa Park until the end of the season.

A talented young central defender, Tuanzebe had impressed when given a rare opportunity under Jose Mourinho – but with a fair amount of quality at the back, he has been limited to a solitary single start this season in the Carabao Cup, alongside a few substitute appearances

This move, then, makes a lot of sense. He’ll be able to play regularly whilst learning from former Chelsea defender John Terry – making this is a solid move for all parties.

It’s certainly gone down well amongst Man Utd fans, and many supporters have been responding to the news over on Twitter. With fans impressed by the loan and the player, it’s fair to say that this is a popular move.
