The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to a few more Champions League nights at Old Trafford…
The ‘Theatre of Dreams’ has played host to some of the biggest games in European football history, and after a short absence from Europe’s top competition, the Red Devils are now back where they belong.
Under Jose Mourinho, they look as prepared as ever to make a real go of it in the tournament, with big names like Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku likely to take it by storm.
It’s certainly not going to be easy, but fortunately for Jose Mourinho and the Red Devils, the clash could be made far easier thanks to a recent revelation provided by Sky Sports News.

With the competition set to begin over the next few weeks, the time has come for teams to start submitting their squads for the group stages, and there is an interesting inclusion within Man Utd’s ranks. Indeed, it appears as though Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be available ahead of schedule – with the Swedish forward amongst Man Utd’s attacking options.
The Swede had been expected to miss out until January, but in typical fashion, there is at least a chance of an early return.
Whilst this doesn’t serve as confirmation of an imminent return, his inclusion does suggest that Jose Mourinho is hopeful, and the Man Utd fans on Twitter have taken it as confirmation that he’ll be back sooner than expected…
