Guardiola must start these 3 Man City players in every game from now on

Manchester City fans are absolutely loving life in the Transfer Tavern right now – sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League and still unbeaten, they’re on top of the world!

Even the landlord in the Football Transfer Tavern – who is a very difficult man to please – has been nodding away in admiration as Guardiola’s men have charged to the summit of the top flight.

Everything’s been going swimmingly well for Pep and his squad, from domestic competition to European competition – they have looked unstoppable.

Following their superb opening form, there are many fans here in the Tavern tipping them to do well this year – and you can’t blame them in the slightest after looking at their results.

But who exactly is shining in this Manchester City side and making the difference?

With that said, here are 3 players that Pep Guardiola must start from every game from now on…

John Stones

If there is one man that fits the Pep Guardiola philosophy to an absolute tee, it’s new signing John Stones.

In the past he has been criticised for his willingness to bring the ball out of defence and play up the pitch, but at City, he’ll be encouraged to do just that.

He really does have the potential to be one of the best centre-halves this country has ever seen, and City fan or not – the signs are truly promising.

He could be the man to lead England in the future too, so even if you’re not a City fan – you should be happy to see him playing as many games as possible.

Leroy Sane

Nolito’s suspension really has paved the way for young German winger Leroy Sane to step into the first-team fold at City, and if the early signs are anything to go buy – he should be a player that features a lot this season.

The former Schalke man brings so much energy, pace and running to the City flank and he really does remind you of a young Jesus Navas, who sadly, has gone off the boil in recent months.

But Sane’s exuberance and willingness to get at defenders is really exciting and we think he’s a player that should feature heavily here on in.

Kevin De Bruyne

Sadly he’s currently sidelined with an injury but if early season form is anything to go by, this could be the season we see Kevin De Bruyne’s real world-class qualities.

We all knew the Belgian was good but after a slightly disappointing Euros – it’s safe to say some might have forgotten just how good the youngster really is.

After some seriously promising performances early on in this campaign, the future really does look bright.

When he returns from injury, he should be the first player on the teamsheet.
