Arsenal fans have been professing their excitement after Miguel Azeez was included in the club’s Europa League squad for the knockout rounds.
It was confirmed by football.london’s James Benge, who also reported that the likes of Cedric Soares, Pablo Mari and Eddie Nketiah made the cut. Azeez has been a stalwart for the under-18s this season, turning out nine times in their version of the Premier League (via Transfermarkt). However, he has also broken into the under-23s side, playing in their 2-2 draw away to Derby County last August.
One fan is clearly a big supporter of the midfielder.

Arsenal enter the second-half of the Europa League campaign hoping to go one better than last year after being hammered by rivals Chelsea in the final. It looks to be the north London outfit’s best opportunity of returning to the Champions League as they sit a mammoth 10 points off the Premier League top-four (via BBC). Fans were left feeling thrilled with the news of the 17-year-old’s inclusion as they took to Twitter to react. Here is a selection of tweets from the Emirates Stadium faithful:

From what I have heard, he is at the moment, slightly better than Messi and has a potential of becoming “I don’t know what or who could be better than Messi” in the future.
