‘Happy days’ - Everton fans react to recent player news

Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern cannot wait for their side to get going again after the international break as they face Spurs next time out.

The Toffees have certainly had a tough start to the campaign but they are looking competitive and so that has to be something to get excited about right now.

Indeed, they are in the Europa League proper now, too, and so it’s a good time to be watching the club as they aim to get themselves up the league.

In addition to that, the Blues have been buoyed by some very exciting young players coming through – one of which being Mason Holgate who has featured increasingly so.

Indeed, he’s proving himself good enough to play in the top flight but his recent call-up to England’s u21 side has fallen flat with him picking up an injury.
