Our Everton fans here in the Transfer Tavern are really looking forward to seeing what their side is going to do this season as the opening day comes ever closer.
Indeed, the Premier League gets underway this weekend with the Toffees aiming to be the side that breaks into the top six at the cost of one of the sides who finished there last year.
Certainly, they’ve spent big on the likes of Michael Keane and Jordan Pickford and now it remains to be seen just whether or not the club can mount a serious challenge to the biggest clubs in the league.
Whilst we wait to see if they can, though, the club has marked the 5-year milestone of Tony Hibbert finally scoring his first goal for the team on Twitter.
