‘Here we go again’ - Arsenal news concerning fan favourite has made fans very angry

It was a night to forget for Arsenal on Thursday, with the fans in the Transfer Tavern spending the early hours of Friday drowning their sorrows – and not for the first time this season.

Arsenal’s poor form continued against the Citizens, with Pep Guardiola’s team finishing out the fixture as comfortable 3-0 winners.

From the moment the whistle was blown, Arsenal didn’t stand much of a chance of winning the game, and in truth, some of the damage was done even before that point.

Ahead of the game, Arsenal confirmed over on their official Twitter page that Jack Wilshere was unavailable for selection due to injury. Of course, Wilshere has been a regular for Arsenal this season, and he has looked great for much of the campaign. As a result, his absence was duly noted by the fans online.

Indeed, it’s fair to say that Arsenal fans were not – and are not – very happy about the news, with many now expecting a long-term layoff for Wilshere, owing to his injury history.
