‘He’s a baller’ - Man United fans react to club’s latest agreement

The Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping their club can close the gap on Manchester City during the second-half of the season.

After beginning the season in imperious form, the Red Devils in the tavern were discussing the prospect of winning the Premier League title this year, but the events that have unfolded in the last few months have all but ended those discussions. So far this season, United have been completely blown away by their local-rivals Manchester City who are showing little sign of letting up at the summit of the Premier League table.

With that being said, United need to start preparing for the future with the acquisition of quality talent who are capable of reaching the standard that is required to narrow the gulf in class in Manchester.

However, there are more ways to prepare for the future other than just signing players from rival clubs, as the emergence of Marcus Rashford in recent years goes to show that signing players in the transfer market is not the only route to success.

And it seems as if United are looking to prepare another youngster for a future in the first-team squad, as the club confirmed that Aliou Traore has signed his professional contract with the club earlier today.

On the whole, the United supporters seem pleased with the news that Traore has signed his first contract with the club, but there are plenty of Red Devils who are still eager to see further announcements with regards to their dealings in the January transfer market.
