Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for their side to get going this season with them aiming for a return to the Premier League come the end of the year.
The men from Villa Park have had a top summer with the likes of John Terry arriving and there is certainly a feel good factor going about the club at the moment.
Indeed, the Villans are looking in as positive and stable a shape as they have for some time and that is what is giving our local Villa punters hope that things can be better this season.
For sure, they’d have liked Jack Grealish to avoid his nasty kidney injury he sustained over the weekend but he is on the mend now and the outpouring of support has been strong.
