The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are looking ahead to the summer transfer window with a decent dose of excitement. The Red Devils are a team that often look to spend big in the summer months, and it’s unlikely that at the close of the current campaign that trend will slow down.
Indeed, it’s been a tough season for the Red Devils, and so – naturally – you’d imagine that Jose Mourinho will want to bring in a few players at the very least.
Of course, Luke Shaw’s time at Old Trafford looks likely to be coming to an end, and so Man Utd will need to replace the Englishman. He hasn’t quite had the desired impact at the club, and so it’s no real surprise that he looks likely to leave.
Like Shaw, Tierney is young and inexperienced, but he has also proven over the last year or so that he’s one of the brightest talents north of the border. Offensive whilst remaining defensively sound, Tierney has everything that it takes to succeed at the highest level, and his incredible potential will likely attract Mourinho.
