Our Tottenham fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to seeing their side back in action this weekend coming as they take on Everton.
The men from White Hart Lane have had a pretty average start to the season and so their fans are keen to see them chalk up a big win against the Toffees this weekend.
Certainly, they can’t drop too many more points with them five behind leaders Manchester United and our local Red Devils fans are warning that they’ll be looking to sign some of Spurs’ players if they don’t buck their ideas up.
Indeed, one such player could be Eric Dier with him linked to United – via The Independent – in the summer, but United had better move quickly if they want to sign the midfielder as his value only seems to be increasing.
Indeed, since his move to Spurs from Sporting Lisbon, Dier has seen his value skyrocket – as per transfermarkt – with it going from £4.5m to £22.5m at the moment and it is likely that that is only going to increase further.
United, then, had better decide quickly if they want him and move sharpish once the window opens up once again as the club will otherwise likely have to really pay through the nose for the international.
