Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to seeing their side getting back in action this weekend in the Championship.
After a slow start to proceedings, the club has picked up some form and they’ll certainly be eager to carry that on with a serious pile of fixtures to get through in September.
For sure, then, we’ll have a much stronger idea of where their season could head come the end of this month and Steve Bruce will be eager to have the club in and around the top six at least.
It could be an exciting time on the field, then, but things off of the pitch are looking rather intriguing, too, with Keith Wyness revealing a whole host of plans for the club – including a satellite group of European sides to be owned by Dr. Tony Xia.
