‘Imagine him under Pep’ - Man City fans want 27-year-old at the Etihad this summer

The Man City fans in the Transfer Tavern have yet to stop celebrating their side’s Premier League title win. It has been an extraordinary season from the Citizens, and it will take an extraordinary summer for them to have any chance of getting better next season.

Pep Guardiola, after a year of transition, really took his side to the next level from the start of the season, with several players really changing for the better under his tutelage.

However, if Guardiola wants to repeat his dominance, it makes sense for the Spaniard to improve the team.

One player that fans seemingly want the club to sign is midfield ace Riyad Mahrez. Currently playing for Leicester City, the attacking midfielder is up there with Europe’s best after a stellar few years in the English top flight.

With fans taking inspiration from a recent report from the Manchester Evening News, which details Leicester City’s reduced demands for the Algerian amid City interest, it’s fair to say that the Etihad faithful are very happy about the prospect of a deal.
