Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are bracing themselves for a mass exodus next summer, following their woeful start to the new campaign.
The Sunday Mirror suggests one of the high-profile players that will leave is Branislav Ivanovic, who is attracting the interest of Inter Milan.
31-year-old Ivanovic, who has been highly criticised for his part in the Chelsea rot this season, is a top-target for former Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini; who wants to bring the veteran defender to the San Siro.
Ivanovic’s contract expires at the end of the season and, with a new offer not looking likely to be put on the table, the Serbian international is free to discuss a pre-contractual agreement with sides outside the Premier League in January and will leave on a free transfer in the summer.
