In the Transfer Tavern, the Man Utd fans leaning by the bar simply cannot understand why their form has been so poor…
Under Jose Mourinho, the Red Devils were expecting change to come to Old Trafford.
The veteran Portuguese boss was seen as the man to bring the best out of a Man Utd side that has, for the most part, disappointed since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club.
Both David Moyes and Louis van Gaal have come into the Utd hot seat – but both have failed to make the desired impact at the club – and so it appeared up to Jose Mourinho.
Fast forward several months, however, and very little has changed. Man Utd are still struggling, and they still look unlikely of making the jump into the Champions League next season.
The buck has been passed by the Man Utd fans in the Tavern onto several of Man Utd’s key men – but now it would appear that a name that is rarely brought up could be at fault.
According to WhoScored on Twitter, Man Utd striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic holds the record in the Premier League for the most clear-cut chances missed, with a grand total of 9. That is 3 worse than second place Theo Walcott.
See that Tweet below…

Well…that was unexpected.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a player that has built up a reputation as one of the most clinical finishers around – but this stat would seemingly imply the complete opposite!
The Premier League is all about taking your chances – and given Man Utd’s lack of goals; it would seem that Ibrahimovic is costing Mourinho a few too many points…
Is it time to give Rashford a go up front?
