The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are desperate for their side to finish the month on a high. The Red Devils have enjoyed a successful window so far, with the signing of Alexis Sanchez exciting our resident Old Trafford regulars.
The Chilean moved to Old Trafford this week from Arsenal, and it’s fair to say that his arrival could well go down as one of the deals of the summer. Undoubtedly one of Europe’s best players, Sanchez is sure to have a big impact.
However, it doesn’t appear as though Man Utd fans are satisfied quite yet.
A talented deep-lying midfielder, Seri – who is rated at £31.5m by Transfer Markt – would provide creativity, class and technique through the midfield – whilst also providing Jose Mourinho with an alternative to Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba.
It’s fair to say that a move for Seri would go down well amongst Man Ud fans – with many taking to Twitter over the last day or so to reveal their true feelings about the potential deal. With fans describing it as a ‘masterstroke’ and ‘brilliant business’ – they’re clearly urging Jose Mourinho and co to get the deal done.

I can't ask for more than Alexis in Jan but it will a master stroke if #MUFC sign Seri this month!

Although I’d prefer Wilshere or Vidal, if #mufc sign Seri this window we are way ahead of the game when it comes to recruitment.
